Tour Itinerary

Day One - Monday 1st April

Your coach will depart from your school or club in the morning for the journey to Amsterdam. On arrival you will check into your accommodation and have the remainder of the evening free to relax and settle in.

Day Two - Tuesday 2nd April

This morning we will take you to the state-of-the-art facilities at the National Training Institute of the Royal Dutch Hockey Federation, where the coaching sessions will be held. You will take part in our exclusive Dutch International and Premier League Coaches' Skills Development Clinics.

In the afternoon there will be the opportunity for each team coach to run their own training session. Then during the early evening you will be taken to your first opposition's ground for your match against a Dutch team.

Day Three - Wednesday 3rd April

We return to the National Training Institute this morning, where you will enjoy our International Players' Skills Masterclasses. During this session international hockey stars will demonstrate various skill sets, shots and moves and, crucially, will explain how and why they do the things they do!

The Masterclasses will conclude with a question and answer session with our guest international players. In the afternoon, you will enjoy some free time for sightseeing in Amsterdam, including enjoying a tour of Amsterdam on a canal cruise. You will then be taken to your second opposition's ground for your match against a Dutch team.

Day Four - Thursday 4th April

Today you have the choice of enjoying a free day to sightsee in Amsterdam, or alternatively, for those wishing to maximise their hockey playing time, we have arranged pitch availability at the National Training Institute, where you can hold your own training session. We then complete the Festival this evening, as you travel to your third opposition's ground for your final match against a Dutch team.

Day Five - Friday 5th April

After breakfast you will leave Amsterdam and make the journey back to your school or club.

Further Information

International Players Masterclasses and Skills Development Clinics

Your players will take part in specialist training sessions, ensuring they improve at the game's key skill sets, as demonstrated and explained at first hand by coaches who train teams at the very highest level. Goalkeepers will also enjoy an exclusive Coaching Clinic, hosted by Martijn Drijver, the Spanish National Goalkeeper Coach.

The Clinics will be complemented by our International Players' Skills Masterclasses, which will include breakdown and analysis of the techniques they demonstrate. Recently our International Players' Skills Masterclasses have been led by Mark Knowles, Captain of the current World Champions Australia; Jamie Dwyer, Australian international and officially the Best Player in the World; and Dutch international Robert van der Horst.

Travel Arrangements

We are pleased to offer all groups of 40 or more passengers the exclusive use of their own 48 or 49 seater coach for the entire duration of the Festival. Groups of less than 40 passengers will be allocated a shared coach with another school or club for their travel arrangements for the duration of the Festival to ensure they have no coach under-occupancy charge to pay.
